The Wellness Seed supports local artists in a symbiotic relationship.

What I’m doing:

Hi, I’m Jill Fimbel, the owner of The Wellness Seed center and I’m a licensed mental health counselor, but I’m also an artist. Art is a big part of my identity. It always has been. It’s a big part of our community, too, if you look close enough. I want to partner up with local artists in a symbiotic relationship. They help decorate my wellness center, and I provide them a free space to display and sell their art. No strings attached.

How it works:

When you come into our wellness center, whether for a yoga class, massage, seminar, or counseling appointment— look around. The art on the walls, and maybe even the end table or coffee table you see— ARE FOR SALE. Each item that is for sale will have the artists name, info, price tag, and most importantly— a little QR code for their Venmo accounts— if you want to purchase it.

Step one:

Just scan the code, pay listed price, and confirm with one of our wellness providers that the payment when through.

Step two:

Take your new art and put it in your trunk! Simple and supportive to these amazing artists in your community.

Why I do it:

The art in our center will always be rotating and give our clients and visitors more to see. But most importantly, we want to support the arts. Because art can bring us joy, help us express our values & emotions, and can build bridges between cultures & communities.

Overall, we want to continue to break down stigmas associated with mental health— and in our center, we focus on ALL WELLNESS and all aspects of a full, beautiful, and bright life. What would it be without art?! We want to bring our community together and be healthy and happy while we’re doing it. #SymbioticArt

Check out Jill and her family. Connecting art & mental health.

Just after opening The Wellness Seed, we were approached by our local new station, WMUR, to do a story about our art and how it connects with mental health. Yes, please! I grew up watching NH Chronicles segments, and it was a dream-come-true and honor to be featured. After about 4 hours of fun filming— Check out our 6 min clip!
