Prior to this she worked in a variety of mental health settings over the years, including residential care, brain injury unit, and early intervention. Ms. Fimbel is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in New Hampshire and currently works with teens and adults who are experiencing a wide range of difficulties in their lives. She has enjoyed running Healthy Eating & Wellness groups for adults, focusing on emotional overeating, self-care, and teaching elements of Intuitive Eating. She has also run an Expressive Arts Therapy group for teens in the past that focuses on identity formation, emotional expression, and self-esteem development. Ms. Fimbel approaches her clinical work with various methods including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness/Meditation, Exposure Therapy, Client-Centered Therapy, Holistic Therapy, Strengths-Based Approach, Expressive Arts Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and is an Internal Family Systems (IFS) in formed clinician.
